In short: the calculators on ClearCalc run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — your salary, loan amount, rent, and so on — are never sent to us or stored anywhere. They stay on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains what information ClearCalc ("we", "us", "the site") does and does not handle when you use clearcalcmoney.com. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

1. Information the calculators do not collect

All of our calculators (income tax, EMI, SIP, HRA and any others) perform their maths locally in your web browser. Any figures you enter are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us, saved on a server, or shared with anyone. When you close or refresh the page, those figures are gone.

2. Information you choose to give us

The only time you actively send us information is if you use the suggestion form on our Support page. If you submit it, we receive whatever you type there, which may include:

Your name (optional)
Your email address (optional, only if you want a reply)
Your suggestion or message

These submissions are handled by our hosting provider, Netlify, and are used only to read and respond to your feedback. We do not sell them or use them for marketing.

3. Information collected automatically

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) may automatically record standard technical information when pages are served — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security, reliability, and basic operational purposes. We do not use this to personally identify you.

4. Cookies and advertising

The core ClearCalc pages do not set tracking cookies of their own. If and when we display advertising through Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, potentially based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

5. Third-party services we rely on

Netlify — hosts the website and processes feedback-form submissions.
Google — Search Console (to understand how the site appears in search) and, if enabled, AdSense (to display ads).

These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

6. How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to operate and secure the site, to read and reply to feedback you send us, and to understand general usage so we can improve the tools. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your choices

You can use every calculator without giving us any personal information at all.
You can choose not to submit the feedback form.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised ads using the links in section 4.

8. Children's privacy

ClearCalc is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
